MAGNETIC HEADS ARE BRIGHT, like the radiant, bleached and blinding sunlight of an endless Australian sky.
Formed by Jonathon Desmond Miller (a.k.a Des Miller), the sound is something distinctly from ‘here’ with a focus on jangling 12-string guitars, tambourines and twisted synth hooks. Reminiscent of the English new-wavers (Curtis, McCulloch and Morrissey) the band also calls on a whole bunch of Australian/NZ icons (The Go Betweens, Mental As Anything and Split Enz).
